Cover Letter
Hello, my name is Joshua Pike (But I Prefer Josh), and I am applying to be a sports coach. The specific sport I would
like to coach is real tennis.
I feel I am perfect for this role as I am only getting better at the sport, going pro and coaching is my dream. The
qualities I would bring to this role would be my approachability and my friendliness. This job would not only mean I am
living my dream 8 hours a day, but I would be able to go to many pro tournaments and this would open a lot of
opportunities for me throughout this game. I have the ability to inspire confidence in others and I would especially
focus on the juniors because that enthusiasm from the coach was what first got me into the game, so I feel I have an
obligation to pay that forward and inspire juniors to play the game.
Finally, thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you will consider me for this, and I look forward to seeing
you soon.
