The Effects of Social Media Platforms on the Mental Well-Being of the Senior High

Students in Carranglan National High School

METHODOLOGY

RESEARCH DESIGN

Research design is the overall plan of your study on how are you going to

conduct to collect information. In this study, the researcher will use quantitative research

that look for numerical data on how social media affect the mental well being of the

senior high students. We use descriptive-correlational research design to know the

effects of social media on the mental well-being of the senior high students in

Carranglan National High School.

CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

The conceptual paradigm of the study is presented in figure 1. The independent

variable (IV) reflects on the effect of social media platforms. The dependent variable

(DV) is the mental well-being of senior high students.

The figure above shows the main concept of the study and explore to determine

the effect and how daily they use Social Media Platforms like TikTok, Facebook,and

Messenger and the level of anxiety of their mental well-being. It pressumed that many

students are having anxiety on their mental well-being.
