Easter Vigil Verses

Verse 1

I sing to God, Tri-um-pant is he (to God be praise and Glory)


The horse and cha-riot he cast in-to the sea (to God be praise and Glory)
My strength and cou-rage comes from the lord (to God be praise and Glory)
The God of my fath-er for-ever be a-dored (to God be praise and Glory)

I am Free….

Elite were the officers covered with mud (to God be praise and Glory)
All pharaoh’s bright armies destroyed by the flood (to God be praise and Glory)
My God is a warrior the LORD in his name! (to God be praise and Glory)
Salvation and justice and Glory is his reign (to God be praise and Glory)

Your right hand O God is resplendent with pow’r (to God be praise and Glory)
Your might was revealed in that dark perlous hour (to God be praise and Glory)
When flood water’s covered that conquering throng (to God be praise and Glory)
And shattered the foe of the ones who sang this song (to God be praise and
Glory)

And live in the freedom you won for them this night (to God be praise and Glory)
