NON-SLIP FLOORING AGGREGATES

DESCRIPTION
ADVA ANTI-SLIP GRAIN NO. 1 specially selected, hard wearing,
chemically inert aggregate of road stone quality for use with ADVAP-
OXY 1500 and ADVAPOXY 1500 SL range to provide a coarse
textured, non-slip floor topping.

ADVA ANTI-SLIP GRAIN NO. 2 chemically inert, graded, hard

wearing aggregate for use with ADVAPOXY 1500 and ADVAPOXY
1500 SL range to produce a medium coarse textured floor finish.

USES
Use with ADVAPOXY resin based products to produce non-slip
industrial floors.

Ideally suited for wet areas in abattoirs, breweries, dairies, chemical

industries, food processing areas, loading bays, car parks, ramps and
walkways.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
All ADVA ANTI-SLIP GRAINS should be clean and dry prior to
application. ADVA ANTI-SLIP GRAINS NO. 1 and NO. 2 are designed
for use with ADVAPOXY 1500 and ADVAPOXY 1500 SL.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

The specially graded aggregates are scattered on the first rolled coat of
ADVAPOXY resin or PRIMER coat while it is still wet. Sufficient ADVA
ANTI-SLIP GRAINS should be applied to completely cover or blind the
surface.

The selected anti-slip grain should be allowed to fall vertically onto the
resin coating rather than be thrown across the surface as this may
cause ridges or scour the coatings and damage the continuous film of
the resin flooring.

When the first coat has dried, the excess aggregate can be brushed or
vacuumed off the substrate and provided it is still clean and dry can be
re-used.

The final coat can then be applied to produce a hard wearing,

chemically resistant non-slip floor. The texture and thickness of the
floor is determined by the choice of the ADVA ANTI-SLIP GRAINS.
