 Fragrances Approval status: Fragrances P2198X, ANP and Herbal Fancy stored as full
barrel at AVA TMZ were tested at R&D and approved for production.
 Sr GM QA, Sr Mgr Prdn & Dy.Mgr – R&D visited AVA TMZ factory on 30.12.23 and re-
checked the physical attributes of Fragrances, Herbal extract, Ginger extract &
Koduveli Extract stored as loose stock and recommended to reject the following
items since they were observed to be contaminated and found with colour change,
extraneous sediments and change in smell.

NB: The cost of moulds after cutting (discarding the affected portions) shall be included to
the above list.

 Final list of Machinery/Furniture parts as rejected.

Cost of furniture and machinery item will be confirmed for final claim
 Based on management approval the defected moulds will be converted to soap as
per the guidelines drafted by HO QA on following date in presence of QA team
AVA MDM – 72 Moulds on 30.12.23
AVA TMZ -158 Moulds on 3.01.24 & 04.01.24
After the cutting of the above moulds and discarding the flood affected portions, the
actual quantity of soap shall be ascertained and value for this shall be taken from
Costing Department.
 We shall also plan the consumption of the stock in hand at the earliest for the RMs
kept at AVA TMZ
 Salvage Process: Final list of flood affected RM/PM/SFG and Machinery parts will be
re-inspected by the insurance surveyor once again and could be taken by them for
salvage process at their part.
 Sr.GM-Accounts informed in the meeting that the total value shall be ascertained and
discussed again with the surveyor before submission of claims.

CONCLUSION:

The Purchase Value for list of Raw Materials, Machineries and other items affected badly and needs
to be discarded had been accounted.

To the above, the cost of moulds (after cutting) and any other replacements shall be added and
discussed with Costing Department for TOTAL COST OF INSURANCE CLAIMS.
