Eating disorders are so common in many developed countries. In any year, two out of every
hundred teenagers will be struggling with one of the two eating disorders, which are anorexia and
bulimia. Besides these two types, there is a newer disorder that is becoming more common - orthorexia.
Orthorexia is an unhealthy obsession with healthy eating. When healthy eating is taken to extremes,
malnutrition, severe weight loss and even death can occur as a result.
The term 'orthorexia' was first introduced by Dr. Steven Bratman MD. He says orthorexics often
limit themselves to what they consider pure or natural. In his book - Healthy Food Junkies - he
introduces a list of questions so that readers can answer and then diagnose themselves. If you see
yourself having a limited list of foods to eat or spending most of your time thinking about food or
planning what to eat, you might be considered having orthorexia.
Simon Wheeler described symptoms that he experienced as a mild orthorexia. He says, 'First I
gave up caffeine when I read that it is a natural insecticide that plants produce. Then I gave up dairy
products. After that, I stopped eating sugar. And so on.' And how has it affected his life? Simon said,
'None of my friends plan all their meals in advance and keep a food diary with the calorie breakdown
of each meal in it. None of them look at the ingredients of every single packet in the supermarket,
checking for additives, sugar and saturated fats. I'm obsessed with paper-wrapped products made of
organic ingredients, so I always search for them when I go to the local markets.' Being too strict with
a healthy diet in an unreasonable way is not wise. Finding a balance is key to healthy eating. which
leads to a life of well-being.

Finland, Denmark and Switzerland are the happiest countries in the world. Finland is the world's
happiest country, according to the 2021 report, with a score of 7.842 out of a possible total of 10. The
authors of the report attributed Finland's first-place ranking and survival of the COVID-19 pandemic
to its citizens' strong feelings of communal support and mutual trust. Furthermore, Finns were adamant
about their freedom to make their own decisions and had little regard for government corruption. Both
elements have a substantial impact on overall happiness. With a score of 7.620, Denmark is the world's
second-happiest country. Denmarks values for all six variables are very similar to Finland's. Indeed,
Denmark outperformed the leader in several categories, including GDP per capita, generosity and
perceived lack of corruption, indicating that it may soon take the top spot.
Switzerland, the world's third-happiest country, received a total score of 7.571 out of 10. The
Swiss are generally in good health. They have one of the world's lowest obesity rates and long-life
expectancy. The Swiss also have a very high median wage, roughly 75% higher than the US and the
highest GDP per capita among the top seven. Furthermore. there is a strong sense of community in
Switzerland and a strong belief that it is a safe and clean country, which is statistically correct.
Switzerland, along with Iceland and Denmark, is one of the safest countries in the world.

4. What is another considerable cause that decreases the

5. What has the government enforced to prevent the

increase of the number of smoking adults?

Transcript
Overall, life expectancy rates in Vietnam are relatively high for both men and women. In 2017, men
had a life expectancy of approximately 70 years while women typically lived until around 79. These
numbers are increasing compared to life expectancy rates in Vietnam in 1990. Back then, men were
only expected to live until 65 and women until 72. Although it is true that the life expectancy rates
seem to be relatively high in Vietnam, the most common causes of death, which can be preventable
or treatable, have often been somewhat ignored. Road accidents remain in the top 10 most common
causes of death in Vietnam despite laws on drunk driving and wearing helmets. The World Health
Organisation points out that high fatality rates result from drunk driving, speeding, use of mobile
phones while driving, the nonuse of seatbelts and the low quality of helmets. Another major cause
of stroke and heart disease in Vietnam is smoking. Over 15.6 million Vietnamese adults over 15
years old smoke, with 85% smoking daily. In order to prevent this, the government has implemented
a special consumption tax on tobacco products that is raised by 5% annually.

correct answer to each of the following questions.
A generation is a group of people who were born at roughly the same period and age, within 15-
20 years. People who were born at various times and in various circumstances have different opinions
depending on the experiences they have had. It is true that the ways people live have evolved along
with the times and many seem not to want to compromise their views and beliefs. They want to live
and behave in their own manner. There have always been attitude differences and misunderstandings
between the younger and older generations, which is called the generation gap. The gap, which is
widened by this mindset, is starting to negatively impact people's lives. Even so, it's not always clear
how generations are divided and to which a person belongs.
People categorise different generations under various names, from Baby Boomers to Gen X,
Millennials, Gen Z and the newly emerging Gen Alpha. Baby boomers are people born during the
baby boom between 1945 and 1964 when the birth rate in several countries, most notably the United
States, Canada and New Zealand, skyrocketed. This generation witnessed the entire technological
evolution and the development of the media. Despite having adapted to a new technological world,
they are less reliant on smartphones than the later generations. As with the Baby Boomers, Gen X'ers
are the most technologically relevant generation of the modern era, acting as a bridge between older
and younger populations. They were present at the birth of the Internet, video games and artificial
intelligence and they are the population responsible for many of these advancements.
People who were born between 1980 and 2000 are referred to as Millennials or Generation Y.
Because many people believe they place too much focus on themselves, they are also known as the
'Generation Me Me Me'.They are reliant on their smartphones since they grew up with technology.
Generation Z, born between 1995 and now, excels at multitasking. They are quick thinkers who
become impatient when something does not happen quickly. They don't give much thought to
themselves. Instead, they concentrate on global issues such as terrorism and global warming. Alpha is
the youngest and first generation born in the twenty-first century. Since their parents grew up using
the Internet, mobile devices, tablets and social media, they are the first generation to have been born.
They also tend to be the most technologically advanced and racially diversified.
