Note: A rebuilt machine or a new machine should operate according to the proper specifications.
If a machine does not operate at the service limit specifications, the machine must be checked for
improper adjustment, wear or damage of the relief valves or pumps.

Lowering control valve 36000 to 40000 kPa (5220

to 5800 psi)
(1)
This circuit should be set according to the attachment that is going to be used on the machine. The
pressure should never exceed 42000 kPa (6090 psi).
(2)
Nitrogen gas pressure varies with the temperature. To obtain the most accurate nitrogen charge, the
temperature of the accumulator must be identical to the air temperature around the accumulator. The
specification is with an air temperature of 21 °C (70 °F). Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Accumulator -
Test and Charge" for additional charging pressure and temperature relationships.

(2)
Use Electronic Technician to adjust the constant mode from 1970 kPa (285 psi).

Note: The procedures for the main relief valves (differential relief valves) are not needed if the
pressures are normal. Refer to Table 2 for the correct pressures.
