ACTIVITY IN CLE:

The class will be divided into 5 groups, each having 3-4 members. In one group, they will be given a bible
verse about the ministries that they have to reflect upon. In a one whole sheet of paper, the group must make
an essay about their reflection. It should contain at least 3 paragraphs which contains an introduction, body,
and conclusion. It should be passed on or before dismissal.

Note: To finish your essay immediately, you can assign people in your group to make the introduction, body,
and conclusion. Do not rely on one person only. This activity will test on how efficient you work together as a
group. This will also determine on how much you really know about the different ministries of the Church.

1. Matthew 28:18–20
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end
of the age.”

2. Ephesians 4:11–13
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for
the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

3. 2 Corinthians 4:1–6
Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful,
underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of
the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is
veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the
unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’
sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the
knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

4. 2 Timothy 2:15
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly
handling the word of truth.

5. 1 Corinthians 3:5–8
What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I
planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything,
but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his
wages according to his labor.

6. Hebrews 13:7
Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life,
and imitate their faith.

7. 1 Peter 5:3
not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.
8. Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms
and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

9. Romans 10:14–15
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom
they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach
unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

10. 2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me
the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to
me but also to all who have loved his appearing.
