FEELINGS
These are my thoughts from the struggles I have faced:
1. Your life is the sum of your thoughts and beliefs about life. Every experience you have will be
framed under this mindset if you were taught that life will be a struggle. You will
automatically expect unpleasant things to happen instead of being open-minded about what
life throws at you. Of course, unpleasant things happen, but we may anticipate them by
expecting them to happen—this is known as a self-fulfilling prophesy.
2. Many people are unaware of how much their thoughts influence the quality of their lives. I'm
not arguing that life is always easy; it can be difficult at times. When we fight against life's
natural cycles, we create resistance and disagreement, which leads to conflict.
END/LEARNINGS
This taught me to embrace diversity among people. We come from
different backgrounds with different narratives which require an in-
depth understanding of our individualities. Our constituents have
varying set of customs and beliefs which made me realized that it is
essential to know and experience first-hand their problems and
concerns. This event gave me a chance to interact with our people
through meaningful activities that established a profound sense of
belongingness among the people in La Libertad.
OTHER DETAILS
Having attended the training-seminars shed light to the dimmed minds
of our stakeholders and to myself also. I was given a wider scope of the
duties and responsibilities that a leader ought to perform and uphold in
its truest sense.
