Head of CCTV Department
CCTV Camera Survey Report - Recommendation for Site
Executive Summary

I hope you fine and well. I recently conducted a thorough survey of the site (Gulbahar Towers) on
Saturday, January 21, 2023 to Sunday January 22, 2024 and have identified areas where the
installation of CCTV cameras would greatly enhance the security measures. I am pleased to present
you with a comprehensive CCTV Camera Survey Report for your review and consideration.

This report presents the findings and recommendations from the survey conducted to assess the
potential sites for installing CCTV cameras in (Gulbahar Towers). The objective of the survey was to
identify high-risk areas and determine the most suitable locations for CCTV camera placement.

Methodology

The survey was conducted through a combination of on-site visits, interviews, and analysis of
crime data. The following factors were considered when assessing the potential sites:

1. Crime Rate: Areas with a high incidence of crime were given priority for camera
installation.
2. Vulnerable Points: Locations that are vulnerable to criminal activity, such as
entrances/exits, parking lots, and public spaces, were identified and evaluated.
3. Lighting Conditions: areas with Hight lighting conditions were considered for
improved coverage.
4. Surveillance Gaps: Areas without existing CCTV coverage were examined to ensure
comprehensive surveillance.

findings

Based on the survey, the following key findings were observed:

1. High-risk areas: Areas with the highest possible occurrence of crimes are: the entrance
and exit of the towers. Inside the corridors of buildings. Parking and around the
buildings and towers.
2. The location of the existing camera: in the most important position to cover most of the
points.
3. Lighting evaluation: In places where there is not enough lighting, the environment
should be brightened according to the need
4. Monitoring gaps: Currently, 5% of the entire settlement is covered out of 100 percent,
and the remaining 95% percent must be covered by security monitoring systems.
Recommendations

After a detailed review of the findings, the following recommendations are provided regarding the
installation of CCTV cameras:

1. Priority sites: First of all, the entrance and exit of the town should be covered seriously. The
second stage inside the building's corridors, the third stage, Parking, and the fourth stage
around all the towers
2. Placement of the camera: in the places where any kind of accident is likely to occur and be
covered there, keeping in mind and observing the rules of installing security cameras, the
amount of light should be proportional to the needs of the camera.
3. Camera specifications: If necessary, the specifications of the best and highest quality cameras
will be arranged
4. Operators: Since the number of cameras will increase, two to three other operators must be
hired for 24-hour control.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the survey results indicate the need for the installation of CCTV cameras in specific areas
of (Gulbahar Towers) The recommended sites have been carefully selected based on the criteria
mentioned earlier in this report. The implementation of this recommendation will contribute
significantly to enhancing security and reducing crime in the identified high-risk areas.
