Lobos,
Here is your reminder to get your calendar in order for conferences (if you haven’t yet). The directions go
out to parents tomorrow afternoon! Also, please sign up for food if you want dinner that night. For that
link and all other info see below!

Lobos,
PTC will be on Wednesday February 7th. They will be virtual and go from 5:30pm to 8:30pm
and they will be using the exact same set up we used in the past to do virtual conferences, which
was Microsoft Bookings. Again, conferences will be 7 minutes long. You can do your
conferences from Rocky, or home.
There are only 26 spots for conferences with the 7 minute length so If you need to block out time
on your calendar, please be aware of the impact. You would need to do that on your PSD outlook
calendar between 5:30 and 8:30. Remember to otherwise leave that time open on your PSD
email calendar so parents can sign up. Also, if you are unable to “attend” PTC please notify
parents via email and give an alternative way to have a conference with you. That could be with
Teams, Google, or even a phone call. Setting that up will be up to you. (also make sure you block
out that entire time on your outlook calendar so parents cannot sign up accidentally) The sign up
info will go to parents around 4pm on 1/31 so you will have until then to get your stuff in your
own calendar. Another shout out to Ben for once again putting this all together. Below are his
directions from last time.
If you want food that night, fill out this form by noon on 2/1/24:
https://forms.gle/vWifkrL9D8d4Cgw39
Here are the teacher directions for how to make PTC go smoothly.
1. Watch the PTC tutorial here. (ignore the Friday afternoon part at the start of the video and
the 5 min part, these directions are from last year since the process is the same)
2. Print and record parent names on timetable (optional).
3. Use 2 monitors or split screen. Ask Ben for help.
4. Set Outlook calendar to DAY view. Meetings go ACROSS the calendar
diagonally. Hover over meetings for time and parent name. Expand meeting to see the
student's name.
5. From Outlook calendar, click JOIN meeting. ADMIT parent when their name appears.
6. When you hear the 30 second warning (if using the audio clock), wrap up
conversation, LEAVE call, and JOIN next meeting (from calendar).
7. Repeat 4-7.

Let Ben or myself know if you need any help!
