I,Pooja Chaudhary, have been teaching PGT Political Science to class 9th-10th in your prestigious
institution for 2 years now. With great respect, I write this letter to inform you that I am pregnant
and plan to take maternity leave. My due date is 12th June 2024. As per the government rules of
Maternity Bene ts Act , I kindly request 26 weeks maternity leave that is from 12.04.2024 to
12.10.2024. I don’t expect to have any problem returning to my current position and delivering the
same quality work as I serve now.

While I’m on maternity leave, please contact me at the number provided below. Please let me
know if there are any other formalities I need to perform before I go on maternity leave. Thank you
in advance for allowing me to take this time away so that I can take care of myself and the baby.
