3. Ask three of your classmates of his/her answers in items 1 and 2. Identify the common
advantages and disadvantages of their answers. Make a summary of the explanations of
the common answers.
Majority of our answers are somewhat related and has the same thoughts especially on
the first question. It can't be denied that overseas workers contributes for the
development of our economy. In fact, majority of our GDP is from overseas workers.
Likewise, everyone who came from other countries were able to equipped their selves
with higher quality skills and experiences which would be of a great help for our country
as a less developed nation. New knowledge that would be learned and shared in their
home country will make that nation stronger and more creative in making strategies for
different circumstances.
However, great advantage always comes with great disadvantage. If things would be
beneficial to other country, it would be a disadvantage for the other country. Our answers
always go on about how would it feel being far away for years and how would it be hard
for them to adjust and bond with their loveones. Aside from that, though they have
acquired new knowledge things should also be considered and the harder part is when
that new knowledge is not applicable the home country. Adjustments always been a
problem for overseas workers plus it will not just take for days but months and
sometimes for years.
