Paste Affective
objective below: : HONESTY
Shows awareness of
the importance of
honesty;
Honesty is about not lying or deceiving and being true to one's doing or in any situation.
Honesty is related to organizing statistical data since, when you are handling data, there
Value Concept is a possibility of manipulating the data to gain some personal advantage, like less
work. To successfully organize data in a frequency distribution table, we need to be
honest so that the data will be accurate and reliable.

Outline
Lesson proper
● What is the frequency distribution table specifically the Ungrouped frequency
distribution
● How to organize data in frequency distribution table
Content:

1. Definition
● A frequency distribution is an arrangement of data that shows the
frequency or Occurrence of the different values in an experiment or
study.
● It helps to organize larger data into a table
2. Ungrouped frequency distribution
● Classifies a given data set (less than/ equal to 30 lists of the sample)
● Categorical data ( ages, gender)
● Frequency of each data is treated as an individual data point or as
discrete data (Measure or counted)
● Single data/ individual data value
3. Column
Step 1: Make sure there is raw data from a survey or data from a study or cases.
Step 3: Paste the category from the data set in the first column or the Class table
AB
Step 4: Review the raw data and mark a stroke (or tally) depending on how many times
the data occurs in your data set. Put the marks in the tally column in the same row as
their class.
AB
Step 5: Write down the frequency of each class by counting its corresponding tally
marks - put it in the frequency column.

Example: The following are data obtained in the survey given to grade 7 learners on
the number of pencils they owned.

Generalization Direction: The student will answer the teacher's question to generalize the topic.
Problem: The following statistical data set shows the number of cell phones in each of
40 families.
Total (n)
Direction: The student will read the following question and encircle the letter of the
correct answer.
Evaluation
1. It helps to organize larger data into a table
a. Frequency distribution table
b. Frequency table
c. Frequency data value table
d. Frequency data set table
5. What do you call the data in the first column of the frequency distribution table?
a. Tally
b. Data
c. Value
d. Class
Application: Flipbook
Direction: The student will ask the ages of the members who are currently living in
their household, and they will need to arrange the gathered data into a frequency
distribution table.
