Now, let’s discover the first part.

1.Environmental pollution
The pollution situation is increasingly serious.
It has become an urgent problem affecting human health worldwide and
other organisms.
_The term “Pollution” has many definitions, one being “the presence of
a substance in the environment whose chemical composition or quantity
prevents the functioning of natural processes and produces undesirable
environmental and health effects” (United States Environmental
Protection Agency, 2008).
_Exposures to environmental pollution remain a major source of health
risk throughout the world, though risks are generally higher in
developing countries, where poverty, lack of investment in modern
technology and weak environmental law combine to cause high
pollution levels. (Briggs D, 2003)

2.Water pollution
Environmental pollution is divided into 3 main types.
_Soil pollution
_Air pollution
_Water pollution
Among those types, I will mainly talk about the water pollution.
_Water pollution occurs when unwanted materials enter in to water,
changes the quality of water and harmful to environment and human
health (El-kott, Sherif M. A. S. Keshk,2016) (Briggs D,2003).
_Water pollution has become a global problem now a day’s ongoing
evaluation of water resource policy is needed to counter this problem.
Deaths and diseases are caused worldwide due to water pollution and
approximately 14000 people die every day due to water pollution.
(Letchinger .M, 2000) (Pink DH, 2006) (Larry w, 2006).
Reason
The reasons are some people’s consciousness is not really good, they
throw trash carelessly, use chemicals, …
Nitrogen fertilizers have high water solubility and increased runoff‫ ٴ‬and
leaching rate which results in ground water pollution. (Rosen CJ,
Horgan BP, 2009) (NOFA Interstate Council: 9, 2004) (Singh B, Singh
Y, Sekhon GS, 2006).
result
Water pollutants are killing sea weeds, mollusks, marine birds, fishes,
crustaceans and other sea organisms that serve as food for human.
Insecticides like DDT* concentration is increasing along the food chain.
(Owa FD,2013).
(DDT is an organochlorine insecticide that was first synthesized in 1874 by a
chemist named Zeidler. Later another scientist, Mueller, discovered DDT’s
insecticidal properties in 1939).( Geneva, Switzerland, 1979) (Klaassen, C. D., Amdur,
M. O., Doull,J., Eds.; McGraw-Hill: New York,1996.)

Our actions
So that solutions are there to limit there pollution?
_We ourselves must be aware of the current environment.

_ Limit plastic waste in rivers and seas

_ Participate in activities to preserve environmental hygiene.
