DepEd K to 12 Curriculum Guide This is where the teachers get their Learning
competencies and learning objectives, which
they use in different subject areas.
Teacher’s Personal Computer (in school) This is the teacher’s roadmap throughout their
lessons. It can be printed in a hard copy or
soft copy.
Inside the Classroom This was found inside the classroom where
the resource teacher is teaching and the
teaching and learning process takes place.
Inside the school and classroom These are used in different subject areas as
the teacher’s support in teaching the students
which serves as their workbook and guide in
teaching the learners.
Classroom This is used to measure the learners’ acquired
learnings throughout the discussion, through
conducting such assessments.
Learners/Students The outputs and the performances of the
students at the end of the lesson shows the
achieved learning outcomes in the curriculum.
School This is the personal skills and knowledges of
the student which the teacher serves as a
facilitator to improve it inside the school. This
depends on the teacher’s own style of
teaching.

 The 1-6 types of curriculums in the school setting are easy to find because in todays
generation, we can now find everything that we need in just one click to the internet
browser.
 The seventh curriculum is a bit hard to find because hidden curriculum are the hidden
things that does not need for the teacher to taught but, it only develops automatically
inside the school.
 Yes, they are all found inside the school because they are contributing a lot to the
teaching-learning process of the pupils and by that, they are all related to one another.

Based from the diagram that I have drawn, I can reflect that the seven types of curriculums
are essential for the teaching ang learning of every student. For a reason that, teachers should
touch all the aspects of student’s capacity and skills for a better learning and understanding of
what education really is. I also understand that school curriculum should not just focus on
one type hence, should look to all and make them balance and in order form of
implementation.

a. The teacher first starts with presenting an objective and a short review after about
the previous lesson by asking questions, and showing some hints.
b. All of the steps that was mentioned in planning were followed properly. Like the
review up until the assignment.
c. The teacher always asks the students some questions in the lesson that can be
integrated in real-life situations and by that, he can help the students engage in the
discussion.
d. Yes, the teacher’s role is always a guide because he did not tolerate some of the
attitudes of the students and did not spoon feed them. He always tells us that when
he does not stand as a guide the student will get used to the same special treatment.
e. Yes, the learners are always participating in the class and doing the tasks but, some
are not following the instruction and finish the task even though the teacher was not
yet done with the instruction.
f. Sometimes no, because it always depends on how deep should be the lesson be
discussed. There are times that the teacher is still discussing and the bell ring for
the next period. There are also times that the lesson was finished before the bell.
a. Yes, all the three objectives have met at the end of the discussion.
b. The teacher provides a short quiz or activity after the lesson or sometimes,
assignment.
c. Student’s scores, outputs and responses.

1. The teacher whom I observed has to compare with the competencies of a global
quality teacher because he has the personalities and the strategies which promotes
equity and equality among students. He also has the passion to educate and discipline
well his students when it comes to classroom management as a subject teacher and as
a classroom adviser.
2. Yes, based from what I have observed during classroom observations from Monday to
Thursday, I can see that the lesson plan was followed properly. The flow of the lesson
is in order just like written in the lesson plan. But there are times that what should be
done today cannot be done right away because of lacking in time and some activities
and lessons need more time.
3. The mood of the teacher every after the lesson is happy and contented in his lesson
because at some point, he had delivered the lesson well and made the students
understand well the lesson. Even if he did not finish it to the time allotted but at least
he fulfilled the curiosity of its students in a form of answering their questions and
concerns regarding the topic. There are times that he felt exhausted, maybe because
sometimes there are pupils that is hard to get their attention and discipline them but
overall, he is a really great teacher who is passionate to his profession.
4. There are pupils that I can pinpoint who have no reactions at all but majority of the
students are happy and eager because the way their subject teacher taught them is
very interactive. Even they do not do something like games and activities, in a simple
recitation and lecture-discussion the students are engaging and enjoying their simple
sharing about their experiences and their family inside the classroom.

The first thing that I have to consider in preparing a lesson plan is the grade level, subject
and the learning competency. After I mapped the three first step, I will make three learning
objectives from the curriculum guide which are the cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Then,
the topic, resources and preliminary activities. After that the discussion takes place, followed by
activities then quiz and assignment.

1. Yes, because the learning outcomes up until the assessment is aligned. My resource teacher
has the picture analysis and lecture-discussion as a method and to ensure that they do really
understand the discussion he gave them a group activity which they draw their personal dreams
and share it to their groupmates.
2. Yes, because in showing pictures of different professions, the pupils can point out what is their
dream according to the pictures that was presented and lecture-discussion can deepen their
understanding about such professions by sharing a short definition of what they do and why do
they like it.
3. The assessment component will show if it has been achieved because here, the teacher can see
if the pupils really understand the topic or not.

 In writing a lesson plan, I have learned that the outcomes should always be aligned to
teaching methods up until the assessment for the teacher to map out and trace the
effective ways properly in giving such lesson. Also, I learned that lesson plan plays an
important role in the teacher’s part because it helps us to see if we do really teach well the
pupils or not. I give the value of respect and achievement, because in aligning the three
components the teacher is critically thinking on how to connect the three therefore, giving
them the respect of having such a patience and creativity to formulate it means an
achieving goal.
