Dear Professor Mac Artur,

I am writing to you for an application for the exchange students program of your University,
as I am currently looking for a post-baccalauréat project.

As a student at xxx High School, xxx, France, I heard about UCC in an English course,
which led me to do some research about UCC. I have met one of your students, Andrew
Wiles, who told me only great compliments about lecturers, the campus, and, as I am really
into science, your laboratories, which look astonishing compared to those in France. The
degree in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in robotics, is exactly what I am looking for, so,
combined with all the activities available on the campus (I am keen on cricket, and movie
making), UCC seems perfect for me. Also, the presence of multiple tech companies around
the college is a great opportunity for the future, as we can get employed the day we
graduate.

Finally, sharing new cultures, with Irish people and students from all around the world, and
discovering a whole new country, with verdant landscapes, historical cities and diversity as
Ireland is what motivates me the most to leave France for a year, or more.
