as an eco tourism destination in Negros Occidental

Sagay City is one of the major fishing coastal communities in the province of Negros Occidental,
Philippines. Sagay City, located in the Philippines' Negros Occidental province, is a third-class
component city. The 2020 census found that there are 148,894 people living there. Sagay has 25
barangays and is located approximately 2-3 hours from Bacolod City. Sagay is a coastal
component city in the province of Negros Occidental.The city has a land area of 330.34 square
kilometers or 127.54 square miles which constitutes 4.21% of Negros Occidental's total area. Its
population as determined by the 2020 Census was 148,894 (Sagay City, Negros Occidental

Bulanon is a barangay in the city of Sagay, in the province of Negros Occidental. Its population
as determined by the 2020 Census was 8,644. This represented 5.81% of the total population of
Sagay. Bulanon is situated at approximately 10.9174, 123.4735, in the island of Negros. Elevation
at these coordinates is estimated at 12.3 meters or 40.4 feet above mean sea level. (Bulanon,

Bulanon also known for their famous and budget-friendly spots. A lot of people coming to
experience the ambiance of the places. Bulanon has RV’s Mangrove Café which they offer a
special delicacies. You get to experience a fresh sea breeze while taking a zip of your coffee and
eating their specialties. Next is the Lapus-Lapus Bulanon Floating Cottage, the newest link in the
Eco-tourism Loop, is evidence of Sagay City's dedication to eco-friendly and forward-thinking
travel. Large groups can relax and savor a feast of freshly caught seafood cooked by the locals in

The primary aim of our study is promote eco tourism in our city. In line with that the researchers
