cheat.”

Don’t lie. Don’t steal. Don’t

cheat.”
VIRTUE THEORY

This character-based approach to morality assumes that we

acquire virtue through practice. By practicing being honest,
brave, just, generous, and so on, a person develops an
honorable and moral character. According to Aristotle, by
honing virtuous habits, people will likely make the right choice
when faced with ethical challenges.

Virtue ethics is a philosophy developed by Aristotle and other ancient

Greeks. It is the quest to understand and live a life of moral character.

individuals and groups can make upon other individuals or
upon society." Rights-based ethics means that ethical
behavior must uphold the rights of people

Utilitarianism is a universal teleological system.

It call for the maximization of goodness in societ
It asks for the greatest number of people.

Utilitarianism is a theory of moral philosophy that is based on the principle

that an action is morally right if it produces a greater quantity of good or
happiness than any other possible action
Casuist Ethical Theory
The Casuist ethical theory is one that
compares a current ethical dilemma
with examples of similar ethical
dilemmas and their outcomes.

This allows one to determine the

severity of the situation and to create
the best possible solution according
to others' experiences.
