The data-gathering procedure flowchart of the study is designed to
systematically guide the research process. The study adopts a quasi-
experimental research design. After validating the survey tools, pilot testing
was done to test for the reliability of the result. The researchers distributed the
initial and baseline data survey questionnaire to 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year,
and 4th year nursing students of Olivarez College Tagaytay. The result of the
survey was then analyzed. Before proceeding to the intervention, the
researchers present a letter of request and consent for music sessions to the
participants. After presenting the letter of request, the researchers will explain
the music therapy protocols definitely to the participants. The researchers
used purposive sampling in choosing participants that will be engaged in the
experiments, namely; the controlled group and the uncontrolled group. The two
groups will be given pre and post-survey sessions. The controlled group was
exposed to the music therapy sessions within 5 weeks which is equivalent to
the prelim term of the 2nd semester, and the uncontrolled group that does not
receive intervention is not exposed to the music therapy sessions. These two
groups were identified after conducting an initial survey by identifying the level
of anxiety of the participants. Music therapy sessions will be the interventions
that will be conducted within 5 weeks. The assessment results of the
controlled and uncontrolled groups will be assessed and collected. Lastly, a
survey will be conducted to determine the changes in the level of anxiety that

will reflect as feedback of the interventions done for the two groups of
participants.
