WRITING SYSTEM
The Japanese writing system is comprised of three main written
scripts:

(1) Hiragana (for native Japanese words)

(2) Katakana (for foreign/loaned words)

(3)Kanji (for words orginally from Chinese)

Represents a set of phonetic sounds Will also teach you the pronunciation of
almost all sounds in Japanese

2,000 Characters A must for Japanese
You need to learn to reach adult fluency
