CREATIVE ROLE PLAY

Objective:
The objective of this activity is to engage participants in a role-playing exercise where they are presented
with a dilemma and must act out a scenario based on their assigned roles. The activity encourages critical
thinking, communication, and teamwork.

Instructions:
● Minimum of 5 mins and Maximum of 10 minutes
● They can make an additional backstory for the assigned dilemma.

A. LIFE, PEACE AND LOVE


A family must decide whether to continue life support for a terminally ill relative who has expressed a desire
to pass away peacefully.

TWIST: Musical Role-Play


Students will showcase their scenario through the medium of music and song. By infusing their performance
with rhythm, melody, and choreography, participants will engage the audience in a captivating and
entertaining musical experience.

B. THE ACCIDENT
She sees you and although barely conscious, she manages to mouth the words "I'm sorry"
You don't understand, but her look answers you question. The man next to her is her lover with whom she's
been having an affair.
You reel back in shock, devastated by what her eyes have just told you. As you step back, the wreck in front
of you comes into focus. You see your wife is seriously hurt and she needs attention straight away. Even if
she gets attention there's a very high chance shell die.
You look at the seat next to her and see her lover. He's bleeding heavily from a wound to the neck and you
heed to stem the flow of blood immediately. It will only take about 5 minutes to stop, but it will mean your wife
will definitely die.
If you tend to your wife however, the man will bleed to death despite the fact it could have been avoided.

TWIST: Tagalog-Korean Edition


Students will showcase their scenario using a combination of Tagalog and Korean languages. This language
fusion adds an exciting challenge and encourages participants to creatively blend two distinct linguistic and
cultural backgrounds.

C. CONCENTRATION CAMP
You are an inmate in a concentration camp.
A sadistic guard is about to hang your son who tried to escape and wants you to pull the chair from
underneath him. He says that if you don't he will not only kill your son but some other innocent inmate as
well. You don't have any doubt that he means what he says, What should you do?

TWIST: Tagalog and Gay Linggo Role-Play Presentation


Students will showcase their scenario using "gay linggo" or gay lingo, a vibrant and expressive form of
language commonly used in the LGBTQ+ community in the Philippines. This language fusion adds an
exciting and culturally rich dimension to the role-play, allowing participants to explore diversity and creativity
in communication.
