FIRST PERFORMANCE TASK
GROUP 3
Filipino is the native language which is used nationally as the language of communication among ethnic
groups. Majority of Filipino consists of Tagalog, Visayan, Ilocano, Bicolano, Pampangueños, Ibanag and
Itawes (from Cagayan) and Zambal.
SCENE:
In a classroom there are students that has different languages like Tagalog, Ilocano, Itawes and English.
One of them is their new classmate. Sandra is from Canada who transferred here in the Philippines.
P1: Hello Sandra ang ganda mo naman.
P2: Uh! Excuse me! but i don’t understand what you are saying.
P3: Sandra! Steph say you’re beautiful l.
P2: Oh! Thank you, Steph! You’re beautiful too. Sorry guys but I don’t understand your language.
P1: Do you want to learn how to speak Tagalog.
P2: Of course, i want to.
P3: Ok don’t worry we will teach you every day.
P4: There’s a lot of different languages here in the Philippines.
P2: Oh really?
P5: Yes! like Ilocano and Itawes.
P2: Ilocano and Itawes?
P3: Yes! Ilocano is our dialect in our province. For example “ Taga benna ka Sandra?” It means where
are you from Sandra?
P2: Oh! I want to learn that too.
P1: Another 1 is Itawes! Itawes is very common here in Peñablanca! If you want to learn how to speak
Itawes i will teach you.
P2: Thank you guys! I’m looking forward to learn that different languages

SECOND PERFORMANCE TASK


GROUP 1
Good afternoon everyone, today we will present to you our family tradition wherein, an action or pattern
of conduct that reflects a family's values, interests, or beliefs is referred to as a family tradition. It will
ideally be passed down the generations once it is established.
(first scene) Roma and Kristelle went home from school roma: ma pa, mano po.
Kristelle: dyos ma pa. (nagmano)
Pauline: oh narito na kayo ayusin niyo na ang inyong mga gamit at kami ng inyong ama ay aayusin na
ang lamesa upang makapag simula na tayong kumain.
Tatay: tamang tama at kaka tapos ko lang naluto ang pang hapunan natin.
(second scene) sitting surrounding the table gem suddenly came up, Gem is the best friend of the siblings.
Gem: dyos ta!to. (nagmano)
Pauline: oh ikaw pala gem halika't umupo Ka't saluhan mo kaming kumain.
Gem: tamang tama po at may dala akong adobong manok.
(sitting on their perspective sits)
tatay: Oh sya i lead nyo na ang prayer nang maka kain na tayo.
Pauline: let me... (personal prayer) First of all we give our thanks for all the life, Everyone thank you.
Dear lord, thank you for giving us food to eat today and thank you for keeping my whole family safe and
sound and keeping them from any accident or illness I do hope that you will continue to keep them from
any accident or illness that my happened, Amen.
(sinaway ni pauline si roma)
Pauline: Rom min-ilan na kitang sinasabihan na wag na wag mong gagamitin ang iyong cellphone habang
kumakain tayo,wag kang bastos sa harap ng pag kain..
Roma: pero ma may tinignan lang po ako
Pauline: wala ng pero pero kumain kana
(Kristelle suddenly dropped her spoon)
Edgar: aba may bisita tayong darating! naka harap ba anak?
Kristelle: oo pa.(giggling)
Edgar: aba pogi! (the table filled with laughter) when suddenly the boyfriend of Kristelle came up,
Norman.
Norman: magandang gabi po tito, tita.
Pauline: magandang gabi rin sayo iho naririto kaba para bisitahin ang aking anak,umupo ka rito at saluhan
mo kami.
(Norman obeyed as he sits beside kristelle) Kristelle prepares the food for his boyfriend.
Norman: thankyou, mahal.
Roma and Gem: ehem, respeto naman sa mga single.
(Kristelle and Norman giggled)
Edgar: ang kukulit nyo, kain na kayo at pag ka tapos ay manonood tayo ng tv mamaya.
Roma: 'wag mong sabihing basketball nanaman ipapa nood mo samin mamaya pa, umay na umay na
kami roon lagi namang talo manok nyo.
(frowned)
Edgar: aba itong batang to malas naman ng bunganga mo. (the house again filled with laughter)
