GARADI TEMPLE CLEANING ACTIVITY

The students of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

department had visited the temple of Garadi near Mijar, Moodubidre on 27th
of January, 2022 as a part of non-credit activity. The main reason to visit the
temple was to clean the surroundings around the temple as there was a fair
that was held in the previous week. The fair had created a mess and had
spread a lot of junk in and around the place. The cleaning went on for about 8
hours. A pile of junk was collected and dumped at a place nearby for
decomposition and burning. The students actively cleaned the place despite
of the scorching sunlight.

The students had fixed their target to clean the entire place without
leaving any residue behind. The students were very committed to their work
and didn’t neglect the activity for a minute. Together, the work didn’t seem a
lot. It felt easy to clean the entire place with the unity among the students.
With their continuous efforts, they managed to do the works by dividing the
chores among them. The chores included handpicking the bits, dumping the
pile of junk, carrying the sack along, segregate the decomposable waste
from the rest, deflowering the place, etc. We were accompanied by the Head
of our department himself.

We thank our department Head Prof. Harish Kunder for providing the
students an opportunity to spread knowledge to the children of government
school. We’re grateful to you sir. Thank you.
