Project Design for School Lockers

Introduction
 Eastern Visayas Regional High School is the only science
school in Samar and expected to have the best outputs and
performance in terms of academic related activities. Bringing all
the books and any other learner’s materials is really time
consuming and can affect students’ performance. Having a place
inside the school premises can lessen the problem of the students
about the things that they need to bring every day for their
school matter and also for the school administrators who don’t
have classroom to put in their things. Having the school lockers
for the students and for the teachers will be a big help.

For all the instances that students may not be able to have
the attitude of being responsible in their things in going to
school can affect the performance of the student as well as the
school. Everyone have the right to have their conformability in
putting their materials in school. Considering that the School
already has the assurance that their things is safe and secured
but the student should bear in mind that they also have their
full responsibility for all the objects and task to be
accomplished.

This project can benefit everyone in Eastern Visayas

Regional Science High School and help the school to encourage
students to be more responsible in their things. Not all school
can provide school lockers for all because they are lack of
spaces and the security is not really observed. Since the school
will be relocated in Payao we can make this project happen with
the help and participation of the students, school administrator,
and the DepEd.

I. Problem Description
 Bringing school stuffs will be very time consuming and
will resultto laziness especially because the DepEd is
planning the school relocation in Payao and believe that
most of the student’s house is far from school. This problem
will affect the performance of the student in Eastern
Visayas Regional Science High School.

A school locker could be useful in storing all of the

student things and stuffs. It could be a hassle bringing
such heavy books all around the campus and even more
irritating to carry heavy bag back and forth to school.
Aside from being able to store your belongings, you also
don't have to worry about being stolen because aside from
having the school lockers, high security will be put in
every locker for the student not to worry about their school
related materials and stuffs (e.g. books and P.E uniforms
etc.)

II. Statement Project Objectives

a. Provide a safe and secure locker for the students.

b. Help the students with their stuffs.
c. Securing the safety of the students’ things.

III. Benefits

a) The Beneficiaries

i. Students
 School Lockers lessen the hassle of bringing heavy
bags, things, stuffs such as books and school extra
uniform. This will assure that students wouldn't have
to bring such a heavy burden every day. This can help
them be motivated in going to school and learn how to
be more responsible for their things and school stuff.
ii. Parents
The parents of the students would be very satisfied to
see their child going to school with ease and can
assure that their child is safe and nothing to worry
with the materials needed in every school activities.

iii. Teacher
The teachers would be happy to see that their students
are motivated in studying and able to participate in
every school activities for their performance task.

b) How will solving this problem contribute to achieving the

mission and vision of the school?

Having the school lockers will contribute in achieving the

DepEd’s Mission of a safe and motivating environment and to
help better serve its stakeholders. And since the new
location of the new Eastern Visayas Regional Science High
School is far from the town of Catbalogan and so as to the
houses of the students. Bringing such heavy bags during
travels is very difficult.
