CIRCULAR

Sub: Howlader Maria & Co., Scholarship under ICAB's Scholarship Foundation

Applications (as per enclosed format) are invited from Articled Students for awarding 01 (one)
scholarship titled "Howlader Maria & Co., Scholarship under ICAB's Scholarship
Foundation" @ Tk. 3OOO/- per month to deserving articled students registered with ICAB. The
ellgibllity criteria are as follows:

(a) The applicant shall apply for scholarship;

(b) The Applicant must have secured at least GPA 5 in SSC and HSC exams or equivalent
Examinations;
Or
The Applicant must have secured at least Grade B or above in 'O' Level in 5 subjects and
Grade B or above in'A' Level in 3 subjects;
AND
The Applicant must have secured at least CGPA 3.25 In graduation and post-graduation or
equivalent exa minations.

(c) The students selected for the first year of his articleship should automatically be eligible for
scholarship for the second year of his/her articleship. It may be noted here that for
ellglbility in 2nd year scholarship, he/she must pass the first level examination of ICAB
during the scholarship year;

(d) No scholarship should be awarded to any applicant who has already completed his/her
Articleship (CC). The applicant must be in continuation of the Articleship. In case of
discontlnuation of Articleship for whatever reason, the scholarship shall be withdrawn; and

(e) Scholarship entitlement shall be reviewed after exam during the Scholarshlp year,

Principals are requested to notify their articled students of the above mentioned criteria to avail
of the Scholarship. The application is to state his/her academic qualifications/ permanent address
with contact number. The applicant is to submit 01 (one) recent passport size photograph,
attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, etc. with the application. The
application is to be duly recommended by the Principal of the firm and is required to reach CEO-
ICAB by 3O April 2024. The decision of ICAB in all matters in connection with the award of
Scholarships will be final.
