 SYNOPSIS

This project “CONSTRUCTION WORKERES REGISTER AND FINDER” is

developed in “HTML,CSS , JAVASCRIPT AND PHP” is the front end and the database
is “MYSQL” the back end for this to storing the details.
This project is a comprehensive online platform developed to streamline and improve
the management of construction labor. The system provides a user-friendly interface for
construction professionals to register and create detailed profiles, highlighting their skills,
experience, and personal ratings.

On the all construction managers side, the platform features an advanced search and
filtering mechanism, enabling efficient and targeted recruitment based on specific criteria
such as expertise and geographical location.

The system also facilitates the construction manager can save the profile of the
registered workers when they are searched by the manager .Then the construction manager
facilitates communication between the employers and workers, fostering and effective
collaboration.

This project have Register form, Login form, search the workers, gathering the details
to store them, edit and delete their profile are the modules are used in this project for user
friendly using application.

Ultimately, this project aims to enhance the efficiency of labor management in the
construction industry, simplifying the hiring process, improving workforce quality, and
contributing to the construction project
 1. INTRODUCTION

Construction workers are one of the most vulnerable and marginalized sections of the
society, often facing exploitation, discrimination, and lack of social security. According to the
International Labour Organization, there are about 44 million construction workers in India,
constituting 10% of the total workforce1. However, most of them are unorganized, unskilled,
and unaware of their rights and entitlements.

To address this issue, the government has enacted various laws and schemes to
provide welfare and protection to the construction workers, such as the Building and Other
Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act 1996 and
the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Cess Act 19962. However, the
implementation and outreach of these initiatives have been poor and ineffective, due to
various challenges such as lack of awareness, registration, verification, and monitoring of the
construction workers.

The aim of this project is to develop a web-based application that facilitates the
registration and verification of the construction workers and connects them with the various
welfare schemes and benefits offered by the government or other agencies. The application
also enables the employers, contractors, and trade unions to find and hire registered
construction workers for their projects.

EXISTING SYSTEM

The website called Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board
that provides online registration and renewal of construction workers’ data through the e-District
portal. The website also provides information on how to register and renew your membership with
the board.
Another website is Construction Labor Exchange is a platform that connects
construction workers with employers. The website allows workers to create a profile and search for
job opportunities based on their skills and location. Employers can also post job openings and search
for workers based on their qualifications. The website also provides resources for workers such as
safety training, career advice, and more.

The proposed system for CONSTRUCTION WORKERS REGISTER AND

FINDER is designed to allow construction workers to register online, creating personal
profiles with relevant details such as skills, experience, and location.

Implement a robust search and matching algorithm to help contractors find

suitable construction workers based on criteria like skills, availability, and proximity.
Enable workers to manage their profiles, updating information like new skills acquired or
availability changes

The manager can store the workers information when they search the specified
workers on their page and they can retrieve and communicate with the employees for
further working details.

Ensure the platform is accessible and user-friendly on various devices, including

smartphones, tablets, and computers.
