8. Remove the two screw(S13). 9. Remove the Waste Ink Joint Tube Assy while releasing the hook, and pull out the
two Waste Ink Tube from the Waste Ink Joint Tube Assy.

S13 Make sure to prevent the ink drop, because the ink may drop when
removing the Ink tube.

In the following steps, waste ink may spill from the Cap Unit.
Prepare waste cloths or similar in advance so as not to
contaminate the surroundings.
Be careful not to let the gears on the Cap Unit come off when When connecting the two Waste Ink Tubes to the Waste Ink Joint

When replacing the Print Head / Ink Supply Unit, you must
perform the Ink Flushing to prevent the Ink dropping from Ink

However, Printer can not perform Ink Flushing when Printer is
error condition.
Therefore, when Printer can not perform Ink Flushing by fatal
error, perform the repair operation by the following procedure.

15. Remove the two screws (S2), and remove the Ink Tube from Print Head.
Make sure not to adhere the ink to the Connector of the Print
Head, because ink may drop when removing the Ink Tube from
Print Head.

5. Loosen the screw that secures the PF Tension Stopper. 8. Disconnect the cables from the two relay connectors, and release them from the
clamp.
6. Disengage the leg on the PF Tension Stopper from the frame, and slide the PF
Tension Stopper to the rear. 9. Remove the four screws (S33), and remove the PF Motor Assy.
7. Remove the PF Timing Belt from the PF Motor Shaft.
