Post/Job Title Manager – Incubation & Entrepreneurship

Reporting to Head, PIEDS
BITS Mumbai Campus (Kalyan & Powai). Eventually, the position will be based in Kalyan

 Develop a culture and a vibrant community of student entrepreneurship at BITS
Mumbai Campus and its 3 schools - BITS School of Management, BITS School of
Law, and BITS School of Design
 Closely work with Deans / Faculty Members of each of the school at BITS
Mumbai Campus, in furthering innovation and entrepreneurship agenda
 Provide counseling and guidance to students and faculty interested in incubation.
 Act as a bridge between student entrepreneurs from various BITS campuses with
BITS Mumbai Campus
 Organize periodical events, workshops, bootcamps for initiating students into
starting up
 Support Student Entrepreneurship Cells in each of the schools to organize their
activities and events.
 Grow and manage the pool of mentors and match them with student entrepreneurs.
 Expand and manage the Mumbai and Maharashtra partnerships ecosystem of

 Manage the incubation co-working space at BITS Mumbai Campus
 Work with PIEDS program managers to provide funding opportunities to the
student startups at BITS Mumbai campus.
 Any other task assigned by Head, PIEDS
 Graduate with 5 years or MBA with 3 years of experience, with a minimum of
2 years of experience of working in an incubator / startup ecosystem enablement
 Experience of working in a B-School or a co-working space would be a plus
Qualification and  Strong collaboration, communication, and influence skills.
Personal Profile  Service or counseling orientation, with an attitude to help startups become
successful
 Working with technology platforms
Other Skill and Ability  Documentation and presentation skills
Requirements  Ability to work independently with a self-driven attitude

Post/Job Title Multi Skilled Technician (MST)
Reporting to Head, PIEDS
No. of Position 2 (One with Electrical Experience & One with Plumbing Experience)
Job Location Pilani
The MST will be working in the Rakesh Kapoor Innovation Centre (RKIC), a 40000 sqft facility
with three floors, nine restrooms, a lift, power backup, Co-Working space (office space), conference
rooms, innovation labs, horticulture, and landscape. The Centre will be operational 24/7 in the
coming days. MST will be required to do the following activities:

 Managing technical facilities and RKIC

 Manage all maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of the RKIC
 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, inventory levels, and
user interactions within the Innovation Centre,
Principal  Collaborate and coordinate with various BITS divisions to ensure smooth installation,
Accountabilities & maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in RKIC
Responsibilities  Maintaining and repairing the various plumbing installations properly.
 Maintaining and repairing of HVAC and AC operation.
 Provide excellent customer service to all users of the Centre, addressing inquiries, resolving
issues, and ensuring a positive experience for everyone utilizing the facilities and services.
 Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, circuit breakers, wiring, and light
systems.
 Accountable for all assets on the premises, their upkeep, maintenance, and replacement
 Follow SOP for routine maintenance, replacement, new installation, and emergencies
 Undertake any tasks assigned by the Head as required or any other authority as assigned by
Head
 ITI diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience in managing technical facilities and
Qualification and Building Management
Personal Profile  Experience of working in a supervisory role is a must.
 Working in a University set up our commercial building would be preferable.
 Understanding of technological tools for efficient administration
 Proficiency in MS Office

 Knowledge of finance acumen
Ability
 Facility planning, design, and layout optimization knowledge.
