The Discussion last Thursday has given me a new learning about the different speech situations .
The topic is new to me and I'm glad the teachers are patient to teach me even if I don't have an idea for
the topic ,they are able to make me understand in simple ways .They even used simple words to make
it easier for us to relate to the word and connect to the different speech situations. I learned that
different kinds of situations ,it is very important not just me as a student but also to the citizens of this
country.

One of the things that impacted me and stay still in my mind as of today about the lesson is
about the toast master.It is new to me to hear about toast master because we don't used in here in the
Philippines instead me use the word MC .I also learned the rule of toastmaster in the wedding and how
important to have a toast master.The toast master gives entertainment to the guest and to the groom
and the bride,it makes the wedding event lively and interactive .I also learned that they are toast
master in special event .It has also widen my knowledge about the broad caster ,they used a teamwork
to deliver us the news of our country and outside the country.The news caster inform us a truthful and
even risk their life to deliver the news ,It calls me to listen to news and reports again because of their
hardwork and dedication to their job.Listening to our teachers it help mo analyze how the different
learning of speech impacted its listeners.As a student of education it is a good opportunity to learned
about this because we can use it in how to deal different situations of speech and it gives a knowledge
to improve not just our speaking skills but also the credibility of our action . The lesson that impacted
me the most during the class is to master my communication skills and speaking skills because it is a tool
to success and to win the heart of the people. Being a good communicator helps you to be a good
speaker and it able them to understand .I also realize I lack the characteristics of a good speaker or even
leader of an event but I'm willing to learn from my teachers and classmates.

In conclusion I learned the different speech situations and was able to know the meaning and
their differences .I also learned new word from the discussions. This will help me to be a good speaker . I
also learned the importance of face to face interactions it helps me to understand more about the
lesson .It calls me higher to not just learn things again and again but improve my skills each day in
speaking English. Before I end this essay I want you live a quote “There are three things to aim at in
