“Word Hunt”
Study the set of letters. Look for the five skills that you need to achieve academic success. Write them on a piece of
paper. Below are the clues for you.

Direction: On a clean piece of paper answer the following:
1. How do you find the activity?

2. Are there other skills that you can add aside from this? Write them down.

3. What are the skills that you need to improve based on your list?

Time Allotment: 30 minutes
Procedure/Activity

At home, you may try doing the new skills you have learned in school, like reading short stories, reciting
poems or even solving math problems. You may also sing, dance, wash the dishes, organize your cabinet and do other
creative things that you can share with the people around you.
Make a “to do list” of your daily task on a clean piece of paper and post it on the wall near your study area to
keep you reminded.

1. What did you consider in writing down the things that you should do?
2. Why do you think making a schedule important?
