1. Introduction

Reports should be formatted according to these formatting requirements (this document itself is also
formatted in accordance to the requirements).
The basic requirements: page size A4, Times New Roman font with size 11, “Single” spacing between
text lines, 2.5 cm margins (all four margins have the same size). Spacing between paragraphs is 0
points. Paragraphs start with no indentation.

2.1. Subsection title

Sections, figures, tables, and mathematical formulas should be numbered. All figures and tables
should be referenced in text. For all mathematical formulas, if their variables are not already
explained, the explanations should be given right after the formula. Example for a formula for
computing area S of a circle:

where r is radius of the circle.


Example of a table is given in Table 1. If a table is narrower than the page, it should be centered.

2.2. Subsection title

3. Formatting of references

The list of references should contain all literature sources used in the report. You have to reference a
source even if you translated or paraphrased its text or modified its figure, table or source code. The
references should be given in alphabetic order (by surname of the first author) and numbered with
ordinal numbers. The references should be referenced in the text using their numbers in square
brackets, for example, [5]. All given references should be referenced in the text.
