Mr Frank Lucas
Manager
Lucas Engineering Company
Wallend Lane
Linton
LN1 8HT

Dear Mr Lucas,

I am the manager of Linton Rovers, a junior football club for under 14 year olds based at
Linton Community Centre.

The club started five years ago and in that time we have had over 700 youngsters using
our training facilities, coming along to our training sessions or playing for the team. You
may also have heard of our popular football skills schools which we run throughout the
school holidays, when young people often have nothing to do.

We are looking for a sponsor in the coming season to help us with the cost of the
community centre and the football pitches. We hope that your company might be
interested.

In return for your sponsorship we would wear the Lucas logo on our club shirts. We would
also name you as our sponsor in the monthly newsletter.

I will contact you next week to see if you would like more information.

Yours sincerely,

Riki Carlo
