Based on the national data of Nepal’s Central Bureau of Statistics for 2021, among
the 7 million children between the age of 5 and 17 in Nepal, 1.1 million (15.3%)
children are subjected to child labor.The international labor organization categorizes
child labor as work that deprives children of their childhood, their right to education,
health, safety, and mental development. Us think that child laborer took away many
of children future. So it must be stopped.

If we were the mayor of nepal, first we would try to solve the problem with mental
approaching. We will try erase the caste system. Because we thought that caste
system lead many bad things such as mental block for the children and inequality. We
think that every person, every human, should be in the same degree one and another.
Caste system just make it worst. We’ll look at one example, the arvin’s family. His
family is in the bottom of the society in nepal. Precisely they are called “the Dalits”.
The dalits called untouchables, because people from higher caste prohibited
themselves from interacting with “the dalits’. it’s so sad that in 2023 there are still
caste system that discriminate a group of people. We think things like this just will
discourage, make them feel hapless, and restrict them from pursuing their dream.
They will only feel that their purpose of life is just to become a labor. They feel like
they have no future. Of course there are some exception like arvin. He tries to
achieve what his mother never thought of. He tries to become a doctor and he tries to
get proper education. Young spirit like this can help us to build the nation!

And if we can not erase the caste systems, we will try to encourage the bottom caste
or near bottom caste that they still have future rather than just to become laborer. We
must provide mental support for them so they do not continue to feel undervalued and
they realize that they can live a better life and see their future. Especially for children
who are underage, they should be able to go to school and play like children who live
like children of their age. We will also try to educate parents that school is an
important things for the future. If their kids can not go to school, they will ended up
just the same as their parents. The truth hurts but this is the truth. Life will not change
if it is not driven by proper education.
Thirdly we will try to solve the problem with legislation approach. We will demand
the factory to not employ children as their laborer. To do that we will strengthen
existing regulations, we will carry out regular checks at various trade centers and
factories to see if there are still child laborer. if there is still any, we will close the
production activities of the factory or place that employs children.

And lastly, we will provide free education for children and parents. we will use
government funds and ask for funds from various parties to be able to provide proper
education. Many of working children never even have the chances to go to school,
therefore we will try to provide basic education for them through elementary schools.
This elementary school will benefit both children and parents. children will get proper
education and parents will be given a living allowance.

for the parents we will provide education about various creative ideas for opening a
production house. Agriculture sector accounts for over half of the country’s export
earnings. Although it is the sector that contributes the most revenue, the productivity
in this sector is very low.

This low productivity is due to a shortage of fertilizers and the use of inefficient
techniques. As the major of this land, the major of rautahat, we will build a production
houses together. We will produce vast types of fertilizer such as eco-enzyme and
other eco friendly fermented enzyme. When we produce this kind of fertilizer, not
only it will become one of the new commodity that can be sold, it also can be use for
the soil itself.

So in the end, those are our solutions to the problems that are happening in our land.
