Proposal for Sponsorship
The Management Premier League is a cricket-based tournament organised by the Management
Studies Department of Jahangirnagar University. This tournament started its journey in 2013 and, so
far, four successful seasons have been organised. It will premiere its fifth season in 2022. This is one
of the mega-events in the faculty of business studies at JU. Students, as well as faculty members, are
spontaneously attached to the event. The Management Studies Sports Club is hosting the tournament
with the help and direction of the faculty. Season 5 will start on March 20, 2022. Every season, there
is an organised player auction to choose the squad for the teams. Icon players are selected before the
auction session. They are directed by their respected faculty member, which is fixed through a lottery.
In every season, six teams play, divided into two groups. After the group stage, two teams in each
group reach the semi-finals, which are formatted in the Knockout System. The premier league started
with the auction event and closed with a prize-giving ceremony in front of faculty members, with their
presence and gratitude.

In 2013, it started its journey and created excitement in every student of the Faculty of Business

Six teams are participating in the tournament as well. Agnisnan, Smashing Reds, Harbingers, and
Black Diamond are in their fifth consecutive season, while Evergreen Tigers and Knights are making
their debuts in the Management Premier League. The six teams were selected through an auction
ceremony. With their six icons, they got the opportunity to build up the squad for the tournament. 72
players were chosen for the teams from the auction event. Every team has 15 members consisting
with
 13 players, one adviser and one manager. There will be 3 umpires, 5 executive committee members
and 2 score controller at field for per match. There will be present 43 persons in every match
organising. The Premier League has some dynamic and exciting faculty members to guide each team
with their wise advice. A total of nine matches (including finals) will be arranged, and every match
will be observed by the tournament executive committee. Faculty are also involved in the process,
which has generated a lot of excitement in every FBS batch.
