ABSTRACT
Ganoderma is the genus from order Aphyllophorales with more than 466 species. The type species is Ganoderma
lucidum (Curtis) P. Karst. Only 15 valid species were reported from India till 2014 but the recent survey shows more than
47 species from India.
Keywords: Aphyllophorales, Ganodermataceae, Western Ghats
