The undersigned are Bachelor of Science in Business Administration students of Bukidnon State University and are
currently conducting , mini thesis entitled “The Temptation Trap: Unraveling The Effects of Unplanned Buying, Sales
Promotion, and Mode of Payment Towards Post-Purchase Regret” as a course requirement of the subject, BACC11B –
Business Research 2.
The objective of this study is to determine the online buying behavior and post-purchase regret in terms of sex and
allowance ,the online buying behavior of students in in terms of unplanned buying, sales promotion, and mode of
payment, the post-purchase regret behavior of BSBA students in online buying in terms of regret due to forgone
alternative; regret due to change in significance; regret due to under-consideration; and regret due to over-
consideration,the significant difference in the participants responses on post-purchase regret when grouped according
to profile and which independent variable significantly affects the post-purchase regret behavior of BSBA students.
The findings of this study shall provide useful data for marketers researching the different factors that impact their
decisions and understanding consumer’s unplanned buying behavior and post-purchase regret.

organization . We are currently enrolled at Bukidnon State University and we are in the process of writing
a research paper as a course requirement of the BACC11B – Business Research 2 subject. The study is
entitled The Temptation Trap: Unraveling The Effects of Unplanned Buying, Sales Promotion, and Mode of
Payment Towards Post-Purchase Regret..
The objective of this study is to 1. What is the profile of the participants in terms of sex and allowance? 2.
What is the online buying behavior of students in in terms of unplanned buying, sales promotion, and
mode of payment? 3. What is the post-purchase regret behavior of BSBA students in online buying in terms
of regret due to forgone alternative; regret due to change in significance; regret due to under-
consideration; and regret due to over-consideration? 4. Is there a significant difference in the participants
responses on post-purchase regret when grouped according to profile ? 5. Which independent variable
significantly affects the post-purchase regret behavior of BSBA students ? Furthermore, the findings of this
study provide useful data for marketers researching the different factors that impact their decisions and
understanding consumer’s unplanned buying behavior and post-purchase regret.
We are conducting the survey among the BSBA Students of your organization. Attached herewith is the
survey questionnaire for this study. It will only take about 10-15 minutes and can be arranged at a time
convenient for the participants. Participation in the survey is entirely voluntary, and there are no known or
anticipated risks associated with participating in this study. The survey results will be kept strictly
confidential and will be used only for academic purposes. The names of the respondents and the name of
your company will not be included in any theses or publications.
