Climate Change

Climate change is a critical global challenge we face these days. One of the primary
causes of climate change is the greenhouse gasses that keep on increasing day by day. These
emissions are a result of the dangerous human activities such as deforestation, burning fossil
fuels, etc. The gasses accumulate which results in global warming as it traps the heat in the
atmosphere. These glasses are what we call “Greenhouse gasses” which is a huge factor in
global warming and climate change. The trapping of the heat in the atmosphere melts ice in the
polar regions which results in devastating effects. Because of this, it results in places slowly
submerging into the sea, loss of biodiversity, migration of species, etc. Consequently, these
effects cause imbalance in our environment, driving animals into being endangered, or worse;
Extinction. Climate change does not exclusively affect animals, it also affects the human-race.
As a result of climate change, agriculture took a big hit as seasons had changed and became
more unpredictable causing hunger and famine around the world. Climate change also made
the globe warmer, which is why people from the northern hemisphere, who are used to living in
cooler temperatures, are struggling to adapt to the warmer temperature brought on by global
warming and climate change. Climate change is also caused by human activities and social
inequalities, as vulnerable populations often bear the brunt of its impacts. Changes in
temperature for some reason water resources are profound. Therefore; affecting both quality
and availability. Climate change also affects our mental health for Increased frequency of
disasters with climate change can lead to posttraumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorder,
and depression. Coastal areas are increasingly vulnerable to flooding due to higher sea levels.
Also, some reasons are about improper waste disposal. People just throw trash anywhere. For
example, in the street, on the grass, into the seas, the rivers, etc. Which may lead to clogging of
sewage systems and cause destructive floods. Human activities have profound effects on the
environment, ecosystems, human health, and the global economy. Climate change is such a
huge problem for the future generations, for they have to live with the consequences of
industrialization.
