Opening statement
What do you see on my spots that I have placed all around the room? What's on them? Yes
numbers! When my music plays I want you to walk around and dance, when my music
stops everyone needs to find a spot to stand on.
Middle of Activity
Early: Student watches other dance to the songs
Middle: Student dances to music and when the music stops freeze on a number
Later: Student dances to music and when the music stops freeze on a number and says
what number it is
End of Activity
Students will name the number on their spot they are standing on and then will pick up their
spots and bring them up to their teacher, once they have given their spot to their teacher
they will be directed to wash their hands.
