Name of Mountaineering Activities

One of the outdoor activities I've been longing to experience is hiking. Hiking involves
journeying through natural landscapes, often along trails or rugged terrain, to explore the wilderness
and connect with nature. My childhood was devoid of such adventures, so I'm eagerly seizing this
opportunity to immerse myself in this exhilarating activity. It's a personal goal I'm determined not to
let slip by, as I anticipate the joy and fulfillment it will bring.

Objective
The role of hiking excursions is to utilize the great outdoors not only to enhance the
curriculum but also to provide avenues for personal growth and social development. Hiking trips will
have the following learning objectives for us:

To cultivate confidence and self-esteem through various outdoor challenges and achievements.
To instill a sense of respect and stewardship for the natural environment.
To nurture respect and empathy for fellow hikers while engaging in physical exertion.
To encourage the setting and evaluation of personal hiking goals.
To foster effective teamwork and collaboration within hiking groups.
To forge new friendships through shared outdoor experiences.
To promote increasing self-reliance and independence on the trails.

Overall, the objectives of hiking expeditions encompass a broad spectrum of aspirations,

ranging from adventure and exploration to personal development, social bonding, and environmental
conservation.

Place to Conduct

I've decided to conduct this activity at Mount Pulag, located in Kabayan, Benguet, Philippines.
As the third highest peak in the Philippines, Mount Pulag offers breathtaking views of sea clouds and
a diverse range of flora and fauna. Situated within our province, it's conveniently accessible and
serves as a testament to the natural beauty of Benguet. Moreover, choosing Mount Pulag allows us to
support and promote our local tourist destinations and the indigenous communities that call this
majestic mountain home.

Things to Provide

It's crucial to pack the essentials to guarantee a safe, comfortable, and memorable hiking
experience. Here's a list of items to consider bringing:
