Unit 1: Introduction to Rural Development- Issues in rural vs urban development: a comparison

Unit 2: Rural Development and Finances under the Federal Structure of India

Unit 3: Socio Economic Development in the rural sector of Gujarat/India

Unit 4: Rural Development programs in Gujarat/India

Field Visit: To a nearby rural area where the students can understand aspects of the above syllabus

Lecture timings: Monday 7:45 to 8:40 am, Thursday 7:45 to 8:40 am & Saturday 8:45 to 9:40 am

(This is a 1 Credit = 15 Hours course to be distributed among class sessions and field visit.)
