Features and Functionality Needed
● Internal memory for storing critical data, configuration settings, and logs.
● Purpose: Facilitates data storage, allowing for offline functionality and
preserving historical information
● Built-in rechargeable battery for continuous operation, even when the main
power source is disconnected.
● Purpose: Provides backup power for essential functionalities and ensures
uninterrupted operation.
6. SMS Command & TCP Communication: MUST HAVE
● Support for both SMS (Short Message Service) and TCP (Transmission
Control Protocol) communication.
● Point to Point MO & MT, SMS cell broadcast
● Purpose: Offers flexibility in communication methods, allowing for reliable
data exchange and remote control
● Description: The IoT device is equipped with an RFID reader that interacts with
RFID tags or cards.
● Purpose: Enables seamless and secure ON/OFF control of the vehicle based
on RFID authentication.
● Authentication Process:
● ON (Start): The user presents a valid RFID tag or card near the RFID
reader to start the vehicle.
● OFF (Stop): The user presents the RFID tag or card again to stop the
vehicle.
● Secure Authentication:
● RFID tags/cards are uniquely coded for each user, enhancing security.
● Authentication data is securely transmitted and verified for authorized
access.
● User Management:
● The administrator or owner can manage authorized RFID tags/cards
and revoke access if needed.
● Integration with Motor Control:
● The RFID authentication is integrated with the motor control system to
seamlessly control the vehicle's operation.
● Notification:
● Optional notifications or logs can be generated when the RFID
authentication is used for ON/OFF, providing a record of vehicle
access.
● Real-time monitoring of the battery's state of charge, health, and individual cell
voltages.
● Purpose: Ensures optimal battery performance, longevity and provides
insights into battery health.
● Power LED:
● Green: The device is powered on and operating normally.
● Blinking Green: Low battery or power-related issues.
● Off: Device powered off.
● GPS LED:
● Blue: GPS signal acquired, location tracking active.
● Blinking Blue: Searching for GPS signal.
● Off: No GPS signal or GPS turned off.
● Network Type LED:
● Multicolor (e.g., Red for 2G, Blue for 4G).
● Blinking: Network activity or communication.
● Off: No network connection.
14. OTA (Over-The-Air) Updates: MUST HAVE
Authentication:
● Description: Use strong authentication mechanisms to verify the identity of
the sender of commands.
● Purpose: Ensures that only authorized users or systems can send commands
to the IoT device.
