MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT executed this 24 day of January 2024 at San Fernando City of La
Union by and between:

AMA COMPUTER COLLEGES__________________ , a member of AMA Education

System (AMAES), a private educational institution of higher learning, with an address located at
MZF BUILDING, GEN. LUNA ST, SAN FERNANDO, 2500 LA UNION and, represented
herein by its School Director, _ _MARIE CRIS ALMOITE___________________________
hereinafter referred to as “FIRST PARTY”.

SEVILLA,SAN FERNANDO LA UNION ___________________________,

represented herein by its Barangay Captain, _________RODOLFO MILANES
JR._____________________ hereinafter referred to as the “SECOND PARTY”.

WITNESSETH;

WHEREAS, community extension is one of the three fold functions of any higher education
institution that is recognized and embodied in the Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997 (RA
8292) with regard to the intensification of the extension services together with research and higher
education that will be geared towards the provision of better quality education and the development of
middle and high level manpower.

WHEREAS, SECOND PARTY was identified based on the assessment and recommendation of
both FIRST PARTY and SECOND PARTY as target for the Community Extension and Outreach
Services.

WHEREAS, SECOND PARTY is recognized as a potent venue for mobilizing people in its
numbers to collectively and productively work for economic self-reliance, equity, and social justice.
WHEREAS, FIRST PARTY is committed to assist the residents of the SECOND PARTY
specifically in (SEVILLA ,SAN FERNANDO CITY,LA UNION) as the strategic area and the
concentration on conducting various activities for community engagement/ extension activities.

WHEREAS, FIRST PARTY recognizes the venue of wholesome relationship with ( SEVILLA,
SAN FERNANDO CITY ,LA UNION) that will allow a hands- on exposure and experience of
FIRST PARTY’s faculty members, students and employees through the transfer of knowledge, skills
and technologies to the stakeholders.

NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises and of the mutual
covenants hereinafter set forth, the FIRST PARTY and the SECOND PARTY hereby agreed to
execute this Memorandum of Agreement under the following terms and conditions:

Section 1. FIRST PARTY primarily through its Community Extension Service Center makes its
faculty- trainers, student-trainers, and other resources accessible to the livelihood projects and all other
projects in ( SEVILLA, SAN FERNANDO CITY ,LA UNION) , especially in the planning,
implementation, and evaluation of the latter’s education- training, organizational and business
development programs.
Section 2. FIRST PARTY shall seek the approval of the Barangay Captain of the SECOND PARTY,
help promote and link projects with other organizations and LOCAL government offices of ( local
areas) .

Section 3. The SECOND PARTY’s ( SEVILLA, SAN FERNANDO CITY ,LA UNION) shall
make itself available as a training station and venue for exposure for research and outreach activities of
the FIRST PARTY’s faculty members, students, non-academic employees, and alumni organization.

Section 4. Both parties agree to periodically review the provisions of this agreement to make
modifications or revisions in the provision as both parties may deem appropriate.

EFFECTIVITY

This agreement shall take effect on January 29, 2024 to February 02, 2024, renewal upon agreement by
both parties.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties through their duly authorized representatives hereto have
signed this Agreement on this 24 day of January, 2023 at San Fernando La Union City.
