Sub. : Recruitment of 04 posts of Assistant Director (A&A) in Central Silk Board

under advertisement number CSB/09/2022 – Interview and Document
Verification - Regarding

Ref.: 1. CBT result for the post of Assistant Director (A&A) published on 25.07.2023
2. Notice dated 10.11.2023 published on CSB’s website.

The Central Silk Board had published Computer Based Test results on 25.07.2023 for the post of
Assistant Director (A&A) and vide Notice dated 10.11.2023,, provisionally shortlisted candidates for
f
further stage. In this connection it is to inform that the Selection Committee has now decided to hold
an interview for the post of Assistant Director (A&A) on 07th Mar, 2024.

2. The Interview for the Assistant Director (A&A) shall be conducted on 07.03.2024 07.0 and
documents verification will be done one day prior to the Interview i.e. 06.03.2024 as per Schedule in
Annexure I & II (enclosed). Provisionally shortlisted candidates are advised to download their
admit card from CSB’s website only (i.e. www.csb.gov.in) 03-07 07 days before the interview as
per advt.. The call letter of Documents Verification/Interviews of the candidates will not be sent by
post. No request for change in the date and time of the Documents Verification/Interview intimated
to the candidates will be entertained at any cost as the interview is scheduled for one day only.

3. Following documents in ORIGINAL must be brought, at the time of Documents

Verification/Interview, along with five photocopies each duly self attested (Original documents will be
returned after verification at the CSB) ::-

(a) Matriculation Marks Sheet and Certificate or equivalent indicating date of birth, for
verification
erification of DoB of candidates
(b) Intermediate/10+2 Marksheet/Certificate
(c) Semester and year wise Mark's sheets of Essential educational marksheet and Certificates.
Essential qualification should have been completed as on 16.01.2023.
(d) Age limit will be considered
cons as on 16.01.2023.
(e) Caste/category Certificate of SC/ST and candidates belonging to OBC(NCL)/EWS/PWBD
category should bring the Certificates as mentioned in the advt.no. CSB/09/2022 Dt.
24.12.2022 in the prescribed format.
(f) Candidates who are already in service Govt. Service/PSU/undertaking will have to produce
NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from their employer during DV.
(g) Central Government civilian employees Candidates, who are claiming age relaxation
should submit a Certificate as per Annexure-III
III only of the advt. Notice CSB/09/2022
(h) Ex servicemen candidates should bring the proper discharge Certificate at the time of
Document verification. Serving Defence Personnel should bring a certificate as per
Annexure-IV
IV only of the Adv

 (i) Other Essential Qualification documents if any which are required for the post as per advt.
No. CSB/09/2022. (if the details has been given in application)
(j) In case of the candidates possessing equivalent educational qualification for the above
posts, such candidates shall also produce a relevant Equivalence Certificate from the
authorities concerned at the time of Document Verification. Otherwise their candidature
may be rejected.
(k) In Case Original Documents Submitted for Pursuing Higher Studies. Candidates are
required to bring a Bonafide cum Custodian Certificate as per Appendix ‘A’ on original
letterhead duly signed by the Principal/ Head of institution, where the documents have
been submitted.
4. The candidates should have in their possession the Original requisite certificates or document
for the given post, which shall be required for producing before the Document Verification
Committee.

5. Outstation candidates belonging to only Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe and Persons with
Disabilities (only in case of candidates with Disabilities above 40%) category who are not in the service
of the Central / State Government, a Central / State Government Corporation, Public Sector
Undertaking, Local Government Institution or Panchayat will be paid to and fro II Class Railway fare
by the shortest route from the place declared in the application form for communication to the place
of interview and back on production of Railway ticket / documentary evidence.

6. Kindly note that this is not an offer of appointment. Merely appearing in Document
Verification and Interview does not confer any right to be selected for appointment to the Post.

7. The Schedule of Document Verification & Interview candidates is given in Annexure I &
Annexure II respectively and should be present themselves ON TIME on the given dates with the
requisite documents in Paragraph 3 and as per details mentioned in the Annexure I & II.

8. A Candidate who fails to furnish any of the requisite documents including Original
Documents for Age proof or Essential Educational Qualification or Caste Category etc. may not
be allowed to attend the Interview.

9. Document Verification and interview will be held in BENGALURU at Office of Central Silk
Board, CSB Complex, BTM Layout, Madiwala, Bengaluru-560 068 from 09:00 onwards. Link for call
letter for interview & DV will be given shortly on our website.

10. For AD (A&A) pertaining to PwBD candidates, the Central Silk Board will consider the
suitability of posts for various benchmark disabilities under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
(RPwD) Act, 2016 in accordance with Notification No. 38-16/2020-DD-III dated 04.01.2021 issued by
Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and
Empowerment.

11. Further, Candidates are also advised to keep checking their registered email (mentioned in
online application) and CSB’s website for further updates or information.

NOTE : Candidates are advised to book their returning ticket from Bengaluru one day after
the scheduled Interview of respective candidates, as Interview may continue till late evening
on the given dates.
