b) Explain how you have made an impact on others through mentorship, community

engagement and/or philanthropic efforts.

I have been representing my class since 1st year of college. During school I was the head girl
and maintenance incharge ,so it is safe to say that taking responsibilities and fulfilling them
smoothly is my additional quality.

During my school time I with my three other batchmates started a quiz club where student
sharing common interests debate on their selected topics, as I am the mentor, its
always me and teammates who decide strategies ,framework and processes to conduct these
debates.

I am the dance mentor of dance society of IET Lucknow, and mentored my juniors to perform in
the annual cultural fest called ADVENT. Giving comfort ,space ,knowledge as well as
maintaining discipline throughout is the major role of mentor which I think I was able to execute
smoothly and my juniors did pretty well in the event.

Not only this I have also participated in various social activities conducted by social club of IET
Lucknow called Parmarth one of them was *Muskaan* event where we have distributed clothes
to the needy people, we visit slums on a regular basis and teach children who cannot afford
studying in expensive private schools ,this will ultimately help in building a community free of
illiteracy and poverty.

As you grow in your career, you never stop learning. And if education is facilitated by strong
connections and relationships, mentoring is the perfect match. It brings the younger generation
along, bridging age gaps, and creates long-term loyalty for your organization. Plus, it ensures
you’ll always have a strong group of future leaders, trained and excited about your mission. The
above mentioned activities are some of my experiences of mentorship and community
engagement.
