Ikabod or bubwit – is the small rat or rodent

Taglish – it is a kind of speech that can signal one’s ability to overhear and see anonymously taglish
became preferred idiom of popular dissent.

MOVIES AND LINGUA FRANCA

Movies – a form of entertainment that enacts a story by sound and a sequence of images giving the
illusion of continuous movement.

Lingua franca- of a dissent multiplies sense as much as it calls attention to the sensuousness of
translation, here understood as the reciprocal interruption of language.

CONCLUSION

Taglish in contemporary movies, then, function to domesticate the crowd into consumers reception to
the alternating invocation and revocation of linguistic hierarchy. Movies routinize the shock of hearing
and speaking otherwise. In consuming such films, audiences buy into pleasure of anonymous hearing
and seeing.
