Make an essay about the effectivity of Overlaying Cadastral Maps into Google Earth.

With the help of Google Earth, we can overlay images like cadastral maps to help us
analyze more efficient, accurately, and have a clearer understanding of an area that we are
trying to locate in our earth surface. Laying cadastral maps over Google Earth makes land
parcels and boundaries visible.

It is convenient for us, Geodetic Engineers, to use this kind of application because, it is
the nature of our work, to locate the area before going to the actual field. We can easily find the
concerned lot and for some instances, we can also locate the affected lots and adjoining lots
that can be a huge help for us to accurately measure the concerned lot. Most importantly, we
can visualize the situation of the lot and plan before visiting the site. With this, we can ensure
the accuracy and consistency of the Cadastral Map, because there would be a lot of changes
within an area over time. For disadvantages, there would always be discrepancies and minimal
error when aligning an image of a Cadastral Map in the Google Earth.
