P1. Hello everyone.

P2. The list of social etiquette experiments is as follows.

P3. First, we were pretending to be someone's ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend

P4. We purposed to see if our school students help other students when they are in trouble with
their EX - boyfriend or girlfriend.

We purposed to see if our school students help other students when they are in troublewith their

EX - boyfriend or girlfriend.

One other different gender team member calls the actor. In this part, the caller’s name should be
saved as ex-boyfriend or girlfriend.

The caller should threat and swear to the receiver. And then The receiver asks our school student
to act as if he is his or her boyfriend or girlfriend.

P5. Next, I'll show you the expected value of the group and the actual result value.

Justin and emma Expected 90 percent of the students to comply with the request.

And allie expected 80 percent, jayden expected 70 percent of the students to comply with the
request.

But actually 100 percent of the students accepted our request.

P6 .Let’s watch the video.

P9. Since this experiment was unique topic, we had lots of concerns and had a hard time
experimenting with shame. However, everytime students helped us, we gained confidence. On the
contrary, when rejected, we lost confidence and felt ashamed

P10. Surprisingly, every Chung-Ang University students helped and acted as we expected. None of
the teammates expected that every experiment participants would help us. Even though we were
the ones who received help through the experiment, our hearts became warmer and we decided to
become people who help others.

P11. Second social etiquette experiment is picking up some thing that someone has dropped.

P12. We wanted to know how many people would pick up something that someone dropped

We dropped a banana pecil case on the street. And we pretended not to know that something has
dropped. Then we observed people’s behavior.

P13. Next, I'll show you the expected value of the group and the actual result value.

Allie and emma Expected 100 percent of the students to pick it up. And justin and jayden Expected
90 percent of the students to pick it up. And, actually 100 percent of the students picked it up.
P14. Let’s watch the video.

P17. This experiment was a simple experiment. But we were worried that people might not
recognize that something had dropped. This is because many people walk on the street using their
cell phones these days. We were surprised because most of the students actively tried to pick up
what we had dropped

P18.. Most of the students picked up what we dropped. We was touched because people stopped
what they were doing like talking to friends or playing cell phones and ran to hand over what they
picked up. A little kindness warmed our hearts. We decided to try to be kind to others.

P19. Our last social etiquette experiment is paying for someone’s coffee

P20. We did this experiment to see if our school students will help us when we asked them to pay
for us when we didn’t have wallet.

Before we start this experiment, we look for a person who is paying their coffee at kiosk.

And ask them if we send them money, can they pay for us. Then we wait to see if they pay for us.

P21. Next, I'll show you the expected value of the group and the actual result value.

Allie and emma Expected 90 percent of the students to pay for us. And justin expected 100 percent,
jayden expected 80 percent of the students to pay for us. And, actually 90 percent of the students
to pay for us

P22. Let’s watch the video.

P25. We were very shy to ask stranger to pay for our drink during the experiment.

Also the people we asked looked flustered because normally not many people ask them to buy a
drink for them.

P26. It could be reluctant to help someone who are asking to pay for their drink. But, we were
surprised that a lot of people helped us. Those results can tell that there are still tons of nice people
in the world. Also we were curious about what will people say if we didn’t tell them we are going to
send them money after the purchase.

P27. Our presentation is over, but the good deeds of countless students will continue endlessly.
Thank you for your attention.
