Introduction
Egysat
is a satellite project initiated by Egypt aiming to launch Egyptian-
owned satellites to serve various purposes, including scientific
research, Earth observation, and telecommunications.
While Egysat is an exciting national endeavor, it's important to
note that in the context of GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
and satellite imagery, specific details about the availability and
characteristics of Egysat-derived GIS images may not have been
publicly disclosed, especially if the satellite project is still in
development or planning stages.
When looking for GIS images derived from Egysat, it's essential to
seek updates directly from Egyptian space agencies, satellite
authorities, or official representatives of the Egysat project to
obtain the most accurate and current information.
As Egysat progresses and operationalizes, there may be
opportunities for accessing and utilizing Egysat-derived satellite
imagery within GIS applications for mapping, environmental
monitoring, urban planning, and other spatial analyses.
SATALITE IMAGE FOR THE PYRAMIDS
For the latest and most precise information about Egysat-derived
GIS images, reaching out to the Egyptian space agency or the
official channels associated with the Egysat project would be the
most effective approach.
Egypt satellite Region maps
for GIS mapping is available at resolutions ranging from 30 cm, 50
cm, 1.5-meter, 2.5 meter and 5 meter resolution. Our satellite
map data is corrected for radiometric distortion and is ortho-
rectified and color balanced.
We take images by selecting specific regions to fit your project
scope and license imagery by the square kilometer. You can also
use satellite images in conjunction with other such as Maps and
vector data.
All imagery raster formats are available
for example:
Geotiff, MrSID (.sid)
ECW (.ecw)
Tagged Image File Format (.tif, .tiff)
Egysat in (GIS) :
Egypt has made significant advancements in the field of
geographic information systems (GIS) and has utilized satellite
data for various applications. The use of satellite imagery and
remote sensing data in GIS has been instrumental in
-environmental monitoring
- urban planning
- agriculture
- natural resource management
- disaster response
