About the job

System analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of energy and power generation
systems, including gas turbines, steam generators, boilers, chillers, heat
exchangers, refrigeration systems, and related equipment. Identify design
requirements, performance metrics, and energy efficiency targets.
Conceptual design: Support the Senior Engineers with conceptual designs
for energy and power generation systems, considering factors such as load
requirements, environmental conditions, and energy efficiency.
System modeling and simulation: Carry out high level energy calculations
such as heat and mass balance and pinch point analysis. Utilize advanced
modeling and simulation tools to evaluate the performance of proposed
designs. Analyze system behavior under different operating conditions,
optimize system configurations, and assess potential energy savings.
Data collection: Support the Senior Engineers in carrying out data collection
through site visits in the form of either Data extraction from existing DCS
systems, or on-site measurements with appropriate tools whenever required.
Compliance and standards: Ensure compliance with energy codes, standards,
and regulations related to energy and power generation systems design. Stay
updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to
incorporate into system designs.
Documentation and specifications: Prepare detailed engineering drawings,
specifications, and technical documentation for energy and power generation
system designs. Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure
seamless integration with overall project requirements.
Project coordination: Support the Senior Engineers with the coordination of
contractors, and vendors for the implementation of energy and power
generation systems.
Continuous improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies,
and innovations in energy and power generation system design. Identify
opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and energy efficiency
enhancement, and propose new design strategies accordingly.
